5 Things to do in Philadelphia This Fall
Fall is the season known for transitions- between the leaves changing colors, the temperature fluctuating, and the days getting shorter. However, one thing remains the same - the amount of amazing things to do in Philadelphia this time of year! We have put together a list of great activities and events to do in the great city of Philly this year, so break out the fall outfits and enjoy a day or night out on the town!
1. Philly Bike Ride
The city is absolutely beautiful this time of year, and a bike ride is the perfect way
to spend a day this Fall! While there are many sponsored bike rides, you can
also take this time to grab the kids and ride around the city, enjoying the beautiful
scenery and cool breeze.
2. Eastern State Penitentiary
Spooky season is upon us, and nothing is as spooktacular as a night at Eastern
State Penitentiary. Throughout the Fall season, they host an array of events,
including a haunted house, historic tours, and even food and drinks! Bonus:
Tuck-ins will be there! Come out and visit us after a tour of the haunted
penitentiary and roast some s’mores!
3. Boo at the Zoo
Starting this weekend, Boo at the Zoo will be the perfect event to take your family
to for some quality time and lots of fun! Wear your Halloween costumes, grab
some snacks and roam around the zoo all day. Kids can even trick or treat, so
make sure to bring some fun buckets and take lots of pics!
4. S’mores Night!
Nothing is better than ending the day around a campfire roasting Tuck-ins.
Inside-Out S’mores are the perfect way to spend time with family while relaxing
and creating memories. If you don’t want to roast outside, don’t worry! Terraflame
offers a unique way to roast inside with a portable campfire!
5. Longwood Gardens
Fall is our favorite season to go to Longwood Gardens! The abundance of trees are going through transitioning colors, the gardens are decorated perfectly, and lots of people are sharing stories and having a great time. Longwood Gardens offers a lot of fun activities during the Fall, including a Chrysanthemum festival,
pumpkin playgrounds, and a garden railway! Check out their website for more
details!
