5 Treats on a Stick for Kids
It’s National Something on a Stick Day! Everything tastes better when it’s on a stick, and typically creates less of a mess. You can leave your forks, spoons, and knives in the drawer, because these treats only need one hand to enjoy! Keep reading for some of our favorite treats on a stick.
1. Homemade Fruit Pops
We love popsicles, and with the warmer weather, now is the perfect time to dabble in making your own homemade fruit pops. Slice up some of your favorite fruits and add them to a liquid of your choosing - we find that lemonade or a fruit flavored tea make a great pairing! Once mixed together, pour your mixture into a popsicle mold of your choosing and freeze. This is a super simple, yet delicious treat for the kiddos, and a bit healthier than store-bought popsicles too.

2. Caramel Apples
Although it is no longer Fall, caramel apples are still yummy no matter what season! Pick up your favorite kind of apples from the store and insert a popsicle stick in the center of it. Dip the apple in caramel (or even chocolate) and let it sit on a pan lined with parchment paper in your fridge. If you want to add a little pizazz, sprinkle chocolate chips or other candies on the apple before you put it in the fridge.

3. Tuck-ins!
Inside-Out S’mores are the perfect treat on a stick to celebrate with! Tuck-ins are everything you need and more - a homemade graham cracker covered in decadent chocolate, all tucked into a marshmallow! They are extremely easy to roast, both inside, outside, or over a TerraFlame Fire Bowl. Inside-Out S’mores create less mess, no stress, and are fun for those of all ages. Don’t worry, each pack comes with Extender Pieces to ensure your little ones can safely participate in roasting.
4. Banana Skewers
Banana skewers are a fun way to make a delicious treat that is healthier for your kids! If you want to stray away from candies, stick a banana on a skewer and dip it in your preferred chocolate and pop it in the freezer for a few minutes, and then you have a delightful treat! Jazz it up by adding sprinkles, chocolate chips, or even warmed peanut butter before setting them in the freezer.

5. Cinnamon Bun Pops
Breakfast just got better! Cinnamon Bun Pops are not only delicious, but easy to make and even easier to clean up. Make your typical cinnamon buns, whether store bought or homemade, and stick them on a skewer or popsicle stick after baking. To make it even easier, set the frosting aside in a small bowl to dip the cinnamon buns in! This will make it easier to clean up, and fun to make.
