5 Ways to Celebrate Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is all about celebrating the most important women in your life. Whether they're biologically related or chosen to be family, these women deserve recognition and commemorations! Make sure your maternal figure feels the love this year with fun activities and loads of family bonding. Keep reading for a few ideas on how to celebrate Mother’s Day this year with your loved ones.

1. Breakfast in Bed

Breakfast in Bed is a classic, and never fails to bring a smile to one’s face. Wake up a few minutes early and make your mother a delicious breakfast to enjoy from the comfort of her own bed. Maybe whip up her favorite pancakes, or some eggs and bacon and add in extra love to your meal by creating a cute display. Breakfast in Bed always makes one feel extra special, and if you want to add a little pizazz, write a loving note to let your mom know just how much you love and appreciate her.

2. Have a Picnic

With the weather getting warmer, Mother’s Day is the perfect opportunity to take your mother on a picnic! Maybe have some one-on-one time with her to really let her know how much you adore her, or invite the whole family for a fun and loving time. Grab a basket or reusable bag and fill it up with all the goodies you think your mom would enjoy on her special day. Visit your local park or maybe adventure to a new one, set up your picnic blanket, and enjoy the day with good food, good weather, and a great mom.

3. Enjoy Tuck-ins

Inside-Out S’mores are the perfect treat for Mother’s Day, especially since they create less mess and no stress! Gather the family around the campfire, stove, or even a TerraFlame Fire Bowl and roast away. Another perk? Tuck-ins can be frozen for up to 14 weeks in case you don’t finish them all and all orders come with a safety Extender Piece so mom doesn’t have to worry about her little ones getting hurt while roasting. Order by May 1 to guarantee shipping for Mother’s Day!

4. Take a Stroll

Get back into nature while the weather is still warm, but not too hot for a long walk or hike. Take your mom to your favorite park, hiking trail, or even botanical garden to walk around and take in some fresh air. With a little bit of exercise, sunshine, and good conversation, Mother’s Day is the perfect opportunity for a beautiful stroll.

5. Host a Family Movie Night

Movie nights are one of our favorite ways to spend some quality time with your family while watching a great movie. Movie nights are the best opportunity to debut a new home movie, sparking memories, reminiscence, and lots of family love. If you don't have a home movie you wish to play, pick one of your mother’s favorite movies and grab her favorite snacks for an entertaining night!
