5 Ways to Host the Perfect Summer Party

Now that it is officially Summer, it is time to start thinking about how to set the stage for the perfect backyard bash. Contrary to popular belief, hosting doesn’t have to be intimidating or difficult, and we are here to help you prepare stress-free! Whether you are planning a small gathering or a large summer party, we have got you covered. Keep reading for five of the best ways to host a memorable and flawless party this summer.

1. Choose a Theme

Themes elevate parties to a whole different level, and don’t require many alterations to be successful. Skip stressing over perfectly coordinating silverware, dishware, and menus, and instill a dress code and minimally decorate to fit the theme. If you find it easier, choose a color pallet to follow while decorating and planning your outfit and share this with the guests invited. We love a good themed party, and your friends and family will too!

2. Keep the Drinks Stocked

Nothing is worse in the summer than running out of something to drink on a hot summer evening. Make sure you grab enough drinks at the store before your bash begins, and even a few pitchers if you want to increase the ambience. Take it up a notch by creating a drink station where guests can help themselves to any drink they prefer. You can even decorate this station with a tablecloth and knick knacks that fit into your theme or color palette!

3. Roast Inside-Out S'mores

Summer is everyone's favorite time of the year to gather around the fire pit and roast s’mores. Inside-Out S’mores make the perfect addition to every summer party, even if you do not have a campfire. Tuck-ins can be roasted both outside and inside, whether over a stove or by using a TerraFlame Fire Bowl, and each order comes with a safety extender piece to make sure your little ones can have fun roasting as well!

4. Play Some Games

Summer and yard games go hand in hand, especially at a summer party. Offer an array of games and activities for your guests to mingle and participate in. Whether it's badminton or corn-hole, games are the best way to keep your guests entertained and excited all night!

5. Fire Up the Grill

Summer is the best time to light the grill, invite friends and family over, and celebrate the warm weather with grilled goodies. Whip up your favorite veggies & protein to throw on the grill and enjoy the night with the people you care about most. If you’re planning a larger party, make sure to be stocked with enough paper plates, bowls, and utensils so guests don't get messy.
