6 Unique Fundraising Ideas in 2021

Schools have started and fundraising season is on its way! Whether you are a student or parent looking to raise money for a sports team, club, or organization - we’ve got you covered. This week, we present to you 6 Unique Ideas for a Fundraiser in 2021.

1. Tuck-ins

Everyone’s selling chocolate, so it’s time to switch it up. Tuck-ins are Inside-Out S’mores - that’s crunchy graham cracker and smooth chocolate all tucked inside of a fluffy marshmallow! They are already assembled onto a stick and ready to roast over any open fire or stovetop. These treats are so much fun for all ages and the perfect unique and mess-free twist to everyone’s favorite snack: s’mores! We will give you a promo code to share with anyone you want. Anytime that code is used, a percentage of that sale will go to your organization! Email marketing@tuck-ins.com for more information on how to get started. To try them first, use code Newsletter20 to get 15% off your order!

2. Zoom Movie Night

This is a super-easy way to have a fundraiser right from your home! Many new movies are now being released on streaming platforms along with movie theatres. You can buy the movie on the platform and sell tickets for a Zoom Movie Night. Share your screen on Zoom and everyone will be able to watch the movie right from the comfort of their own homes. Cameras can be turned off and the chat as well for no interruptions.

3. A Garage/Yard Sale

Buying second-hand is more common than ever and much better for our environment. Ask all the members in your organization to combine items that they no longer use, but are still in great condition. Host your very own club garage/yard sale to raise funds as well as give those items a new home. Some ideas for things to include are home decor, clothing, and jewelry.

4. Pasta Dinner

Because who doesn’t love pasta? A pasta dinner is a super fun way to fundraise. To save money, you can DIY the tickets. Make sure to include the time, place, and dress code for the event. You can also set a theme. For example, a Hollywood Nights-themed dinner can allow your guests to dress up in their tuxes and gowns. Decorations can also be made by hand or bought in bulk at Dollar Store or Target. Once you have the menu set, all you have to do is cook. Your guests will love this fun experience and it will also hopefully raise tons of money for your org!

5. Custom Items

Selling custom-made items is a unique way to fundraise that will have many interested! Some ideas are bead chains for phones or water bottles, embroidered masks, or custom shoes. If you have someone artistic in your organization, this is definitely an idea to consider. Many of the supplies required to customize items (ex. paint, plastic beads, thread yarn) can be bought cheaply in bulk. Because you are providing one-of-a-kind items, you may also be able to sell them for much higher and raise even more money.

6. Celebrity Call Raffle

Often celebrities are willing to participate in fundraisers, especially ones raising money for non-profits. Consider contacting different celebrities you think would be of interest to your group. Ask them if they are willing to hop on a Zoom call with the winner of the raffle. Over the next few weeks, you can promote your fundraiser and prize of getting to have a one-on-one conversation with the celebrity guest to sell the raffle tickets. A celebrity call raffle is definitely a unique and fun way to get everyone involved!
