9 Fun Ideas for Your Next Zoom Party
Whether you have an upcoming birthday, milestone, or you simply just miss socializing, it is time to throw a Zoom party! We may not be able to see all of our friends and family in person, but that does not mean we have to skip celebrations altogether. Virtual parties and hangouts are more popular than ever, and can be just as memorable! So, if you have not hosted a Zoom party yet, now is the time!
We have compiled a list of 9 fun ideas for your next virtual get together.
1. Karaoke
A virtual karaoke night is sure to get everyone moving and grooving. There are quite a few online karaoke options out there including KaraFun, Smule, and Lucky Voice. However, you could also just pick from the abundance of song options on YouTube and share your screen with everyone. Even virtually, karaoke is just as entertaining and hilarious. Happy Singing!

2. Painting
Grab a canvas, some paints, and hop on Zoom with some friends for a virtual painting party! Share your screen and have your guests follow along with the same tutorial, or everyone can do their own thing. Wait until the end to compare your outcomes and share your masterpieces. You could also schedule a virtual painting class (check out Canvas n Cup – they do Zoom paint parties!) For even more fun, add some drinks and turn it into a Paint & Sip Party.

3. Online Escape Room
Online escape rooms are so much fun and will definitely get everyone involved. Dive into a world of mysteries and puzzles as you all try to crack the case. There are quite a few companies that make some incredible virtual escape rooms, and they come in various themes. Some to check out are Confundrum Escape Rooms, The Grimm Escape, and Hogwarts Digital Escape Room (free!) Additionally, you could also turn it into a competition between your guests and give away prizes.

4. Dinner Party with Tuck-ins
Add a unique twist to your traditional dinner party with Tuck-ins! Tuck-ins are Inside-Out S’mores already assembled on sticks. They come in various flavors including Classic S’more, Cookies & Cream, and Peanut Butter Cup. There is also a Vegan and Gluten-free option! After dinner, have everyone shift over to the stove and roast these treats for a delicious dessert. You can send Tuck-ins directly to your guests before the virtual dinner party, and they can be frozen for up to 14 weeks – ready to be enjoyed whenever you want! Order them here and use code SMORE15 for 15% off any order!!

5. Movie Night
Did you know you could watch Netflix simultaneously with your friends? And it is incredibly easy! The Teleparty Chrome extension (formerly Netflix Party) allows you to watch all your favorite shows and movies together – even remotely. You can also just share your screen on Zoom. Grab some snacks, blankets, and gather virtually for a movie night!

6. Virtual Dance Party
Why dance alone in your room when you can dance your heart out with friends over Zoom? Either start your own dance party or join a DJ’s live stream. Additionally, you could also take a virtual dance class with your friends. There are plenty of options to schedule a private group class and/or join on-going Zoom classes. Check out are Gaga, Heartbeat House, and Dancing Alone Together.

7. Get a Psychic Reading
Hire a psychic or tarot card reader to get your fortunes read. Whether you believe in the realm of messages and magic or not, a psychic party will definitely keep everyone entertained! There are various psychic entertainers who offer virtual tarot card, psychic, or palm readings. NowAge Travel also offers online learning experiences, where all your guests can try it themselves.

8. Bake Together
Have all your friends jump over to their kitchen, and bake together – over Zoom! You can find a fun recipe to follow on Pinterest or even TikTok. Not only is it a great way to spend quality time together, but you will also have delicious treats at the end. We have a Vegan Desserts Series on our blog, with new recipes posted every Friday!

9. Game or Trivia Night
There are tons of online games that can be played over Zoom and they are so much fun! One of my personal favorites is Pictionary, which can be played using the whiteboard function on Zoom. You could also choose a game like Cards Against Humanity or Bingo, which everyone can play from their homes. Trivia nights are another great idea! Choose a theme for your event, and maybe even offer prizes to watch it get extra competitive and fun!
