1. Clothespin Photo Display!
Grab a pair of old Christmas lights or even a piece of yarn that you have lying around and a handful of clothespins. Hang the yarn or lights in any pattern you like on a wall or door, and hang some of your favorite photos with clothespins. This DIY decoration is super cute, and fun for all to reminisce on their favorite memories. To kick it up a notch, get a disposable camera or even a Poloroid to hang photos immediately after taking them!
2. Balloon Arch!
If you’re thinking about hosting a birthday, graduation, or a simple party, balloon arches are the perfect DIY for any occasion. Grab a pack or two of your favorite colored balloons, blow them up, and tie them together on a sturdy piece of wire or even string! After, place the beautiful arch in front of a doorway, or even on the walkway up to the venue.
3. Celebrate with Tuck-ins!
Inside-Out S’mores are the perfect treat for any event you might be hosting in the future! They create less mess than typical s’mores, and are way more fun to roast! They can be roasted outside over a bonfire, inside over a stove, or if you’re feeling fancy, they can be roasted with S'mores by TerraFlame, a fire bowl that produces clean and smoke free burning!
4. Floral Centerpieces
Fresh flowers can be expensive and not last long, so purchase a few of your favorite fake flowers for a cute centerpiece guaranteed to get a lot of compliments. You can thrift unique vases, or even use those old Mason jars lying around. These flowers are sure to brighten up the space, and you can even keep them as home decor after the event!
5. DIY Banner
If you have old string or bandanas laying around, don’t throw them out! Using these, you can make a beautiful banner for a fun and easy decoration! Grab a piece of yarn or string and tie bandanas side by side for a retro look. For another option, you can tie strings of yarn in different patterns and of different lengths to create a cute and aesthetic banner, perfect for taking pictures!
